Think of an alien who has never seen the flower rose.
One day, that Alien goes to nursery to buy a new plant for his flower garden.
The gardener comes and shows him a rose plant. That plant is full of thorns and does not have any buds or flowers as of now.
Gardener suggests him to buy Rose plant. The alien says – “No, this plant has so many thorns. I don’t see any beauty in it.”
The alien might say – “why would anyone buy this plant for their garden.” It’s not the alien’s mistake of refusing to purchase such a beautiful flower, this is because he has never got an exposure to what a fully grown Rose looks like.
It is the job of the gardener to show him the flower that he should expect out of this plant.
Likewise, it is our duty as teachers to show the beauty of this subject to our students.
Once they are impressed with the beauty & creativity involved in it, thorns hold no more obstacle in them for experiencing the joy of learning.
Once that Alien saw the beauty of Rose, nobody could stop him from buying that plant for his garden. Similarly, once students are exposed to the beauty of this subject, nobody can stop them from experiencing the joy of learning.

When you walk down on road or travel to other cities/countries – have you ever felt that earth is not flat? Never, right?
Earth always look flat to us.
But, Math/Science proved the fact that Earth is not flat and now when you see the pictures coming out of skydiving, you can see that yes, earth is not flat.
