We usually get quite attracted and even trapped into sophisticated things so much that we overlook simple things easily.
Students think they need to practice difficult problems to do well in studies. I often find out that it is the simple concepts which are not crystal clear in their minds. I believe , every difficult problem is nothing but a combination of various simple problems.
If we fail to catch up on any global news but can catch up with a neighbour, we might be able to make a bigger impact in our lives and others lives too.
Let me introduce you few basic misunderstanding of concepts that I have encountered till now.
9003 – 2006 = 6007
And, the explanation given for this misunderstanding was classic.
My teacher said, when you don’t have enough then go to neighbour and borrow 1. 3 was less than 6, so I went next door, they had nothing. Then, I went next door, they also had nothing. Then , I went the last door (number 9) and borrowed 1 and
100/ 90 = 10/9,
102/92 ~ 10/9,
9/4 ~ 9.4,
(2x + 5)/ 2 ~ x + 5
